Why do We the People need to impeach President Trump?
Representative Al Green of Texas is currently drafting articles of impeachment relating to President Trump’s proposed takeover of the Gaza strip. However, since the start of his second term, President Trump has taken a number of actions that critics have described as unconstitutional or illegal. While Congress has not yet opened an impeachment inquiry into President Trump, we have assembled a run-down of some of the most likely grounds for impeachment that Congress would be wise to investigate.
Is there an argument to be made against impeaching President Trump?
Yes. Should President Trump be removed from office, Vice President J.D. Vance would be next in line to take over the White House, and before we begin an impeachment proceeding against President Trump, we should arguably take the time to consider whether Vance would be a preferable alternative.

Impeachment is a process by which charges can be brought against a government official for wrongdoing, but it shouldn’t be used haphasardly. In the case of President Trump, his supporters might claim the endless persecution of him amounts to “lawfare,” but the simple fact is, the reason President Trump keeps getting in trouble with the law is that he keeps violating the law.
